Italy’s Gerardi said its Tooling 01 2013 catalogue offers a wide range of static and driven toolholders for CNC lathes introduced alongside the company’s angle heads and spindle speeders.

The supplier noted that more than 500 models are available and can be viewed on the company website. The units are said to be suitable for all major brands of lathes as well as for use with standard DIN69880 VDI turret couplings.

The company explained that it provides an innovative and highly practical quick tool change system developed to adapt to any driven tool or angle head. Internal coolant is also available for a number of models, the supplier said, adding that it can offer units with increased or reduced rpm.
