Sobre o ASSOCIATION OF HUNGARIAN FOUNDRIES

The Association is a professional business federation of the Hungarian foundry industry: representing the most prominent iron-, steel-, aluminium- and other non-ferrous metal foundries. Important function of the association is making and forwarding market information to the members, suggesting the adequate member-foundries to the customers or rather forwarding the enquiries to the member-foundries. Established in 1992: 42 members Januar, 2008: 91 members 27 iron and steel foundries, 39 non-ferrous foundries, 25 supplying companies for foundries. All together are some 175 foundries in Hungary. Turnover of AHF means more than 80 % of the total is represented by the Association members. Some 7.350 people are direct and other 22.000 are indirect employed. More than 390 million EURO was the total turnover in 2007. More than 176.000 tons of castings were produced in 2007 Represented producers of the Association at the boot: 1. Nova Hungaria Ltd. - aluminium gravity die castings and garden furniture manufacturing since 1993. 2. Csepel Metall Iron Foundry Ltd. - hand moulded sand casting of grey and ductile iron; from single pieces to small series. 3. P-Metal Ltd. - producing part of industrial robots, machine parts, tranformer parts, X-ray machine parts from aluminium, automotive industrial alloys.
